Tips about Jaw crusher maintenance

In order to ensure the normal work of jaw crusher, proper planned maintenance should be carried out except normal operation, including routine maintenance checks, minor repairs, medium repair and overhaul.

(1) Minor repairs: Check and fix the adjusting device and high-speed discharge opening gap, U-turn of wearing liner or replace; Check transmission parts, lubrication systems and replacement of lubrication oil. Minor repair cycle is about 1-3 months.

(2) Medium repair: Apart from working of minor repairs, medium repair means replacement of the thrust plate, lining, inspection and repair of bearing. Medium Repair cycle is generally about 1-2 years.

(3) Overhaul: Except all the medium repair work, overhaul includes replacing the eccentric shaft and moving jaw mandrel, do casting on the babbitt metal on the upper part of the connecting rod head, replacement or repair of all wear parts. In General overhaul cycle is about five years.
