Short Chapter for the Evolution of Mining Crushers

Crushers includes many different types such as jaw crusher, cone crusher and impact crusher as well as vertical shaft impact crusher which is also called sand making machine. In addition, mobile crusher is also an important machine which is suitable for small miners.

The first generation crushers have been created after gradual improvement and promotion of the steam engine and electric motor and other power machinery. Its production efficiency is higher than older jaw crusher of intermittent broken movements. In 1895, William from United States invented a low energy cost impact crushers and mobile crushers. An American EW Black designed and manufactured the world's first jaw crusher and impact crusher. Its structure is in the form of elbows plate (simple swing) jaw crusher concentrator. As the jaw crusher has a simple structure, easy to manufacture, reliable, easy maintenance, small size and high and other advantages, Jaw Crusher is still widely used in crushing hard, medium hard, soft ore, and various materials such as various minerals, solvents, slag, building stone, marble, etc. Commonly used jaw crusher is about 4 to 6, and sometimes a small jaw crusher can reach 10TPH. Large and medium-sized crusher feed size of up to 1000 ~ 2000mm, its products up to 20 ~ 250mm size. Small crusher and new jaw crusher for fine crushing can produce more fine products. Jaw crusher can be used in both coarse crushing work and medium and fine crushing.

Generally, whole crushing plant contains primary crusher, secondary crusher and tertiary crusher as well as some auxiliary machines such as vibrating feeder, belt conveyor and vibrating screen.
